I am on the mainland and I find a place to check out to see if I want to rent it. It’s large, and the description says 3B. I write down the address intending to find it, when I am out driving around and doing errands. It was daylight and I leave to do my errands and after I am a dozen or so miles away from my place, I realize I had not googled the address so that I would know the location. So I start to look around to see if I can find a place where I can use someone’s computer.
I go into a café where people are lined up to order and I am asking some females if they know where I can go to use someone’s computer. There are in line for food. All of a sudden, someone comes up behind me and puts their arms around me. I am then surrounded by 5 male friends from Hawaii, including Evan. I was so happy to see them all. Evan starts to talk to me. He is sad. He shares with me that his older friend, whose name I don’t recall, has died suddenly. He acts like I know this person but I am having difficulty remembering him. We are getting close to the front of the line, and I see he has a computer bag. I let him know I need to borrow a computer but he doesn’t have one in his bag. Instead he writes down his contact info for me. The group of guys are all outside the food line now. They are reclining in big comfy chairs waiting for their food. Their relaxing attitude has spread to everyone in the café.
I go outside and it is dark now. I descend down some stairs to head toward my car. But there is a person walking by it, so I cross the street to my father’s house, which is located on a different street than his house was. Instead of facing south, it is facing east, and it has been freshly painted. I have a key and feel that no one is home. But I knock just in case, and someone opens the door. There are 4 adults in the living room and at least 3 of them are males. I go up and offer the eldest a check for $600. He is sitting in a recliner on the right side of the room. His son, who is sitting just behind him to his right says that my sister would be coming by in a few days with the check, as she normally comes on the 6th of each month. I say I’ll chat with her to let her know I was ahead of time.
