A little girl is playing in a park-like scene with hills. I encourage her to come with me , and we walk down hill toward a dwelling that may be temporary that Yanah has constructed. It is near a lake, and the dwelling is sub-terranian. As we face the dwelling, Yanah is outside to the right of it, and there are 3 other wise women hanging out, to the left of the entrance. I want to take the little girl on a tour, and we go inside, and head back toward the kitchen. Yannah comes in and says all the men are in another room down the hall to our right. I wander down to go get them.
We are back in one of the larger, center rooms, and Remi gives me something he wants me to read out loud. It is a declaration that is written in rasta-style, and I have a difficult time reading it, but I read it all the way through. The, I ask Remi, “Why don’t you read it? It’s in your language, and you would have done a much better job.” He lies down on a sofa structure that is built like it is coming out of the wall. A woman pushes over a glass of some liquid along the floor. I pick it up and hand it to Remi. Then I wonder why I did that. It didn’t feel empowering for me. It felt like I was doing too much.
Next Scene:
There is a stack of women’s clothing in a big box. Each outfit belongs to a woman who had been murdered, and with each outfit are other items from each crime scene. Each outfit has a number assigned to it, recorded on a small, separate tag. Each number is 4 digits long, starting in the 6000’s. I am particularly interested in a woman who I knew, and had recently given her the dress that was in the box.
This dress opens down the front and is sleeveless. On the inside, over the right breast, is a note I left for her with the charge. I guess I had either cleaned it myself or had it cleaned for her B4 she was killed.
It did not appear that she had worn the dress. In the dream, she was a neighbor that lived down the hall from me. I don’t feel alarmed, just curious. The other items are tiny, and I don’t remember what they are, except that I think one is part of a roach clip.
Next scene:
I am driving in a compact car along a very beautiful and bucolic road that is windy, hilly and park-like, with water elements to my left. Maybe a lake. Naia Rae has been watching two young 6-7 year old boys who feel like they are my sons, along with her own son. I see them all flying in line above me, and I feel they are having fun, and being well taken care of.
To my left, I see faint car tracks that head through the grass. I turn left, first driving onto the grass, then aligning my car with those tracks. It takes me through the part to the edge of the lake. I felt that maybe I should not have driven on the grass part. And, I’m even wondering if maybe I should have located a more well-defined road to turn onto.
I am back at the apartment and things are all moved away from the walls and disheveled. It is night out, and all the lights are on in every room and closet as if people had left in the middle of a big painting project. I look for other clothes to change into. I want warm ones. I find a gauze top and pants to wear.
